Applicable to Visio 2007
When you create data model in visio, by default it does not show the data types. If you wish to see the data types, then do the following:
- Open the database model diagram visio file.
- From the Database menu, Select Options -> Document.
- In the Database Document Options dialog box, select the Table tab, and then, under Data Types, select Show physical or Show portable.
- Click OK.
This will now display datatypes in your data model diagram.
